    Jessie Ellis lived in 11,Hooks Road, Peckam in 1938. She was the wife/ partner of William Golding. She had a son named George Golding in 1947. I can find no trace of her in marriage records, so I believe that. she may have only lived with WG a short while.

    I'm looking for information about a Thompson family who moved to Dagenham from Gateshead, Co. Durham in the 1950s. I believe that work was obtained at Fords and that they had connections with Clark Chapman's in Gateshead before moving south. Can anyone help
