The area includes major institutions such as the Staff College, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Bagshot Park (now the home of the Earl and Countess of Wessex) was once the home of the Duke of Connaught. The poet Bret Harte is also buried in St Peter's Churchyard. Sir Arthur Sullivan once lived in Camberley as did George Edward Lodge, famous bird illustrator and authority on falconry. Dame Ethel Smyth lived at what is now a Toby Inn at Frimley. Inclusion of this newspaper is a must for anyone interested in this part of Surrey and militaria - please add asap. Amazed that you haven't done so already.
