    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

I am looking through several books I have about old Middlesbrough to find any shops or any high street photos. Only about a quarter of old photos of the town are on the internet. Head for libraries if you get desperate. It's one of the few instances of the internet being outplayed by literature.
I have a few more photos of the Exchange

    Sydenham and District motor club

This was a very active club between the wars which , organised and partook in all sorts of events for two and four wheels.

Has anyone any info on it?

I would particularly like to find one JC Thyne who rode, and was quite successful with, a Grindlay Peerless sidecar in a lot of events.
    TIA

Back in the early 1970s when they were digging out the lake in Basildon, they came across a lot of live ammunition left over from World War 2. There was a piece in the Evening Echo by the Police advising children not to remove any bullets etc. Does anybody know if there was an army camp in this area?
