   I was born in Churbury Street in 1953 just off the New North Road. I went to school at St John’s The Baptist with my brother Steven in New North Road and our family were the first to move into 55 Wimborne Court, Wimborne Street. Mum “Beat” and Dad “Cyril” or “Pad” as he was better known managed “Kents” the newsagents & tobaconists shop in Cropley Street and I would love to hear from anybody who was around that area between 1953 and 1973.
