In the basic search box surround the name parts in quotes
"John Webb"
In Advanced Search, type
John Webb
Into the Use exact phrase entry field.
You're welcome.

In searching names it is very frustrating when e.g. the full name cannot be searched , entering "John Webb" will show all instances of "John" as well as "Webb" which means a lot of nugatory searching results. It should be possible for a search by a full forename and surname together.

If I search for “Richard Andrew” it is ridiculous that I get endless articles which include every reference of a Richard only and every reference of an Andrew only. Eg an article might include the both the names, Richard Smith and Andrew Smith. I don’t want those, nor do I want St. Andrews church. If I search for my ancestor, Newark Andrew, I do not want every article referring to the town of Newark.
I think the algorithms need urgent updating.

not just names: please can we search on field A and field B so that only newspaper articles containing BOTH terms are returned, eg Sheratt + teacher
