Newspapers we should add next
Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

Radical Owenite and Chartist Newspapers
While BNA's inclusion of "The Northern Star," the most important organ of Chartism in its first phase," is great, Chartism's outsized influence on the political development of the country as a whole, most obviously in the development of universal suffrage democracy, would seem to merit a much more concerted attempt to include all the major publications of the movement. Two that immediately present themselves to mind are "The Red Republican" and "The People's Paper." Also, a more deliberate attempt at inclusion of the most important newspapers associated with Robert Owen would be most welcome.

Woman's Outlook
Woman’s Outlook, which ran from 1919-1967, was the magazine of the Co-operative Women’s Guild. It focused on issues that were relevant to women such as gaining the vote, employment and maternity. It would be an invaluable resource for people studying gender history.

London Daily Chronicle
Although the London Daily Chronicle was one of the most influential and highest-circulation newspapers of the late 19th century, it has so far only been digitised in its early phase until 1870. However, under the direction of the well-known journalist and editor Henry Massingham, it became a leading voice in liberal politics. It is essential to continue the digitalization of this newspaper to investigate the political controversies of imperial politics.

Weston Mercury
I feel that this newspaper would help a lot of family researchers in the South West Region and form a valuable addition to the archives. There is so much unanswered questions and feel a searchable online mercury would benefit so many people. At the moment the only way to access the paper is by microfilm at weston library and this can be so time consuming. I would be particularly interested from editions from 1950's onwards being digitalised.

Middlesex Chronicle
This was the paper we always had at home as a child. I'd love to be able to browse the 1950s.

Labour, socialist and anarchist newspapers
It would be immensely useful to have more newspapers related to the socialist and labour movement added to the archive, particularly the following:
- The Clarion
- Labour Leader
- Labour Elector
- The Bee-Hive
- Commonweal
- The Miner
- Freedom
- Liberty

A new decade
I believe you are still adding editions of newspapers from the 1950s decade. Once you have intended coverage for this and previous decades, will they all be moved forwards to include 1960s, or further? I have a particular need for access to the 1960s as research material and wondered if there was a timescale for when they might be available.

Shields Daily Gazette
Please add more 20th century editions of the Shields Gazette. The library service in South Tyneside sent you over 50 years of microfilms back in 2014 (at your request), but you have still not added them to BNA.

Monthly Visitor.
A meeting of the Penge Tabernacle (Baptist) Church in 1902, found via your efforts, mentioned the Monthly Visitor in italics as if it was a kind of journal.
If copies of Monthly Visitor have survived it would be a real bonus to Baptist searches in the South London area at the turn of the 20th Century.1 vote
