Newspapers we should add next

Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

  1. Christian Herald closed 2006 after 130 years

The newspaper is valuable in that it has kept a record of what is current news in the Evangelical church over 130 year period and as such it will be a treasure trove of information and research.

  10. North Devon Gazette for 1875

The year 1875 is missing and yet I know from a clipping obtained by an Ancestry user that a distant relative of mine was crushed to death by a runaway horse and cart in Swimbridge, Devon in May/June of that year. I need to know more!

  12. Montrose Standard 1958 - 1964

The Montrose, Scotland area newspapers you added Feb 2018 are excellent, but only go to the end of 1958

Angus Council Web Site shows the Montrose Standard actually goes to 1964...

    http://archive.angus.gov.uk/historyaa/features/2003-06-newspapers.htm

It would be great to extend these Johnson Press PLC papers on the east coast of Scotland for a few more years!

Personally I'm actually interested in the Montrose Standard itself for only a short period 26th May 1963 - 10th June 1963

  16. The Keswick Reminder

This paper had been issued for 100+ years and is an iconic part of the local scene. If it isnt in the Remimder it never happened. The story of the town is locked in old the newsprint.

Puzzling that the last six months (Jul-Dec) of The Morning Chronicle are missing for 1830 & 1831. They are not on "British Library Newspapers" or "Gale News Vault" either
