  3. Newham Recorder

Great newspaper covering the East London area. Robert Balthrop's column provided a fascinating weekly look at the history of the area in particular.

  6. "The Southampton Times" & the "Southampton Daily Echo" & "Southampton Evening Echo" would be excellent please.

I would like to see these newspapers on your website & am sure a lot of other people would too as Southampton was & still is a very busy port.

  7. More of The Portsmouth Evening News

There is a gap in the coverage from 1914 to 1921 and this is hiding information about my Bedhampton war memorial land and community hall. Bryan Cox (87)

  10. Oldham

Still no sign of any Oldham newspapers or indication there is any plan to add them.It must surely be the biggest town so far ignored & was also a major centre of British industry along with being of considerable historical political interest. Both of town's principal newspapers had far larger readership & influence than so many of the additions to the archive. Having to rely on truncated tidbits from Manchester newspapers is deeply unsatisfying

  14. Stratford Express

Valuable resource for outer East London, a suburb that went from being a rural hamlet to the industrial centre of the southeast in about 50 years.

  18. Can we have more papers from the Liverpool and Wirral area (Merseyside)

There appears to be a lack of newspapers from the Merseyside areas of Liverpool and The Wirral. When can we expect to see more please.

  20. More Brighton papers incl. Brighton Gazette 1821-1985

There is no online coverage of Brighton apart from the four years of the Brighton Patriot in the 1830s. The Keep has no intention of digitising any newspapers for the foreseeable future.

Good news! – Brighton Gazette fits our inclusion criteria. We have researched the BL catalogue and it is available to us for digitisation. We have added the following years to our Digitisation Plan: 1825-1871

We are looking forward to digitising this!

Please be aware that until we have received the material into our studio and checked it, it is not possible to guarantee that it will be digitised.
