Lost account of Daniel Medoza's assault on Rachel Joel
Neither the collections of the British Library nor that of others online possess a single copy of the "The London Packet, or, New Lloyd's Evening Post" from 28th October 1975.
This particular paper has been claimed to detail the account of Daniel Mendoza (a prominent Jewish-British boxer and historical figure) assaulting a woman and the guilty verdict resulting thereof. If this archive can locate and make accessible a copy of this account, it would be an amazing find!

The Hairdressers' Weekly Journal; The Hairdresser.
The Hairdressers' Weekly Journal often contained obituaries and news about individual hairdressers, information that is next to impossible to find elsewhere. The Hairdresser also contained articles about the hairdressers' union and German immigrant hairdressers.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately this is a little too niche for us at the moment as we are focussing on digitising newspapers. We will keep this in mind if we expand the project in the future.
