More south London late 20th century please

South London Observer, based in Camberwell until it closed in 1969, edited for a number of years by the father of Sun editor Kelvin Mackenzie.

Lambeth Reference library has the South London Observer for 1966 and 1967 in its original form.

As a former Mercury journalist I'd like to see pages from 1966-69 and from 1978-83

The only way to access this is through the British Library and you have to book space and wait weeks to do so. Valuable local information.

Any south London paper would suffice !!

Surprised at the lack of content online

We defiantly need and recommend further intrusions into this large segment of London which is coming up inadequately short !! Can’t see why it keeps getting ignored ??

What a shame East and South London keeps getting overlooked I can’t for one minute believe there is simply more interest in papers from Formby and Harborne this simply isn’t true thus making a mockery of the voting process you may as well tell it as it is and just say you have no hope of ever seeing your ‘favourite’ title added we will add just what we want to regardless of hundreds of votes for these papers

Disappointing to see so many other new additions but still nothing for the East London area yet the Merseyside area keeps getting filled to the brim with new papers
