Hy,
It’s interesting to see how much anticipation surrounds updates like this similar to how students eagerly wait for their JAC 12th results! If anyone here has family members or friends in Jharkhand finishing their 12th exams, I found a really straightforward guide for checking the 2026 results online. It covers everything from using the official website to SMS updates, and even tips if the site gets busy when results drop. It’s been a huge help for students trying to avoid last-minute stress. You can check it out here https://jacresult.co.in/jac-12th-result/. -

Hy,
It’s always interesting to see how publications like The English Churchman highlight education, discipline, and vocational growth within communities. Technical training often doesn’t get the same attention as academic pathways, yet it plays a huge role in shaping young people’s futures. For students preparing for skill-based careers, staying informed about exam schedules is essential. I recently came across a clear breakdown of the NCVT ITI 2025 practical and CBT exam dates, along with admit card details and preparation tips, which many trainees may find helpful https://iti-result.in/iti-exam-time-table/. Reliable guidance like this can really help candidates plan confidently and avoid last-minute confusion. -

After working on the newspaper from 2002 as assistant and from 2005 to 2021 as Editor, I would be really excited to see these editions preserved. Yet, so much more to see the old editions since 1843 kept here. The Reformed and Evangelical understanding of the important record of the changes in the church over nearly 2 centuries is thus preserved for study. The St James's Chronicle from 1761 might also be included.

Since the new Editor Christopher Pierce took over from Feb. 2021 English Churchman has been radically de-Protestantized. As one who has read this paper for about 20 years, and has also used historical articles from it back to the 19th century, Pierce is the worst thing to happen to EC for a long time. Some general tell-tale signs of this downgrade are immediately apparent in various editions in e.g., the positive pictorial images and comments on the apostate Anglican, religiously liberal Puseyite, incumbent Archbishop of Canterbury, Abp Welby, whose promulgation of an “other gospel” (Gal. 1:8.9; 3:11) includes, though is by no means exhausted by, e.g., his deep involvement in the ecumenical compromise with Romanism; and whose moral putridity is found in both his promotion of anti-patriarchal sex role perversion with women bishops, priests, and deacons; and his attitudes to homosexual sexual perversion which he refuses to condemn as sin. Pierce’s promotion of anti-patriarchal sex role perversion values are also evident with the “Commentary” of Prudence Daily contrary to the apostolic doctrine, “I suffer not a women to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence” (I Tim. 2:12). Contrary to the confessional standards of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer & 39 Articles, Pierce refused to publish the attached letter upholding the Biblical teaching maintaining the Anglican confessional standards teaching that the Roman Pope is the Antichrist. Such are some of the sad examples of Pierce’s worldly lusts, and the fact that he has struck down, and rendered ineffectual, the Protestant witness of EC. Gavin McGrath (author of The Roman Pope is the Antichrist, 1st ed. 2004, revised 1st ed. 2006, 2nd ed. 2010, with a Foreword by the Reverend Sam McKay, Secretary of the Protestant Truth Society 1996-2004 (https://gavin@gavinmcgrathbooks.com/pope.html).

Full title is "English Churchman and St James Chronicle"
The St James Chronicle dates from 1761 and the years 1801 to 1866 are already digitised here. English Churchman dates from 1843. It would be good to include English Churchman to complete this project. -

A vital newspaper for the history of the church of England that must and ought to be preserved for history. I cannot commend this too highly. The evangelical wing of the CofE has been its backbone for centuries.

Certainly a reliable resource, until today [2021] that is, and therefore very valuable in the history of the Church in England.

This is an important publication giving over 170 years of church history from one continuous source. It would also provide important material for anyone researching trends in conservative vs more liberal theology over the years.

The newspaper has been invaluable since I began reading the published editions. It therefore should be available from the archives so the newspaper must be added.

This would be a valuable resource as many people know the Minister who baptised a relative or something like that. And this will be a valuable resource for much genealogical research.

I believe it will be of great value to all those that we desire to know more about the church history and research about the past, the present and the future.
