The St James Chronicle dates from 1761 and the years 1801 to 1866 are already digitised here. English Churchman dates from 1843. It would be good to include English Churchman to complete this project. An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Ratcliff commentedThe full title is English Churchman and St James's Chronicle. While the English Churchman dates from 1843, the St James's Chronicle dates from 1761. Attached is a chart of the history of the various newspapers incorporated.

After working on the newspaper from 2002 as assistant and from 2005 to 2021 as Editor, I would be really excited to see these editions preserved. Yet, so much more to see the old editions since 1843 kept here. The Reformed and Evangelical understanding of the important record of the changes in the church over nearly 2 centuries is thus preserved for study. The St James's Chronicle from 1761 might also be included.
