More Cumbrian Titles!
Apart from one year of the Kendal Mercury, I've been waiting an age for some Cumbrian publications.
The Carlisle Journal hasn't seen any additions since the first few weeks of your launch.
As for new publications, I would love to see some editions of the West Cumberland Times or the short-lived Wigton Advertiser.
By the way, a fantastic site bringing to light my fantastic ancestors!

I would concur with other comments - Whitehaven, in, particular, was an immensely important town. To my mind - and I'm a Londoner - Cumbria is badly under-represented here so far. You seem to be obsessed with Ireland, though.

Workington is often overshadowed by Carlisle and general Cumberland newspapers

Whitehaven newspapers are also essential for north Cumbria— Solway Plain and fells.

Just wondering if you have completed your review of my initial request. Whitehaven was the busiest Port in the UK before Liverpool expanded - I think it deserves a better coverage than it has at the present.

Entirely agree. Would love something like the West Cumberland Times or any title that covers the Whitehaven area.

They've added several years of the Westmorland Gazette too. I'd really like to see the 1900-1944 period added for that paper.
