Staffordshire Sentinel
I would like to see the existing dates extended into the 1920 at least. My interest is the effect and aftermath of the First World War on the people of the Potteries.
Dear Readers
We are sourcing what we can from the Library’s holdings and have added 1940-1941, 1943-1950 in the last 24 hours.

I am looking for Peter BOSTOCK and his wife Priscilla (could be Garrett) who are the parents of my grandmother, Catharine b 1907. He think he is buried aged 43 in 1934 at Sneyd Green. He was a potter, but spent a few years in the Royal Horse Guards. He would be born approx 1970/71. I would like to know who his parents were and whether he was born in Burslem or elsewhere. My gx3grandmother could have a connection with Gloucester. Any help would be gratefully received.

Jane Yates Simpson born at Bank House c1945 who married William Stone. Jane is related to the Simpson potters family, her two brothers managed the business. She had many children who died I believe, the three remaining being Annie stone, William Stone and Alice Stone 1967 , my grandmother who married a Vincent Hammersly Gifford. Jane was therefore my great grandmother and I would just like to say hello to any descendants. I am now living in France
