This is an important publication, not only for the fishing industry but also for the shipbuilding industry that flourished in places like Grimsby, Selby and elsewhere to build trawlers for that industry. Since the industry is all but gone in England now, and few, if any, trawlers are built here any more, I feel that adding this to your digitisation plans would provide not only a record of what used to be a vital industry, but also assist anyone researching the history of fishing fleets and trawlers. Thank you for listening.

At one time, Grimsby was called "The greatest fishing port in the world". The industry employed tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of people. The industry is all but gone now, except in Scotland, so it is vitally important to preserve (and provide access to) what records are available about it.
I agree with all that is said here. This would be a fantastic resource for anyone interested in the (defunct) fishing industry, related industries, shipbuilding, ports, migration patterns and so much more.
