    Majority of collection held from 1850's mainly in bound collection, widely consulted and interrogated and consists of a rare newspaper archive held in a relatively deprived socio-economic area. Used by members of the public and societies such as Victoria History Society and local councils for reference on individiual queries or intended for public exhibitions arranged by the Harwich Society who handle the majority of queries in this area - Linda Morgan Research Team Leader.
