    his site has brought so many memories flooding back,was born in hulme and lived there til iwas 23 in 88,then got a job and moved portsmouth way. went to birley and in 82 lived in robert adam,top floor where i could see the pool table in the spinners,used to get stoned in there every night b4 gettin a lock-in at the eagle,new felix and is 3 dogs i think he had in the end,stix ripped everyone off at least once but nice guy,saturday afternoons in the platford and does anyone remember the boat turned nightclub god that was shite. i no hulme was a shit hole but late 70's to late 80's there was no place like it,hulme carnival wasn't up to much but loved the moss side one, the clubs were fab as well, the reano and psv. i luv animal but would of loved to see one of the dobernams fall off the henry royce,i was convince they were gonna jump on my head one day. it's nearly 20yrs since i left god where as all the time gone? but theres not a week goes by without me thinking of that time and the people,so so many proper characters,i even look back with fondness at my four yrs in the cresents,not so much thou about the human shit in the lifts,even had lump in my throat the day they finally came down-crazy eh. glad i got out before the smack got riffe everywhere thou,mainly puff man myself with the odd acid or e if i was heading to kloisters or brewsters, another memory just popped in my head and that was 10p bag of broken biscuits from the preceint,god that was value, well its 3.40am and up for work in a bit,really glad i stumbled on this site its really fab and its gettin bookmarked,cheers and best wishes to everyone who shared the hulme expeariance

    Looking for any information relating to the Brayford Family from Wellington Court, The Nook, Heathcote Road, Longton. They are the family of Frederick Brayford. I also lived as a teenager in Grosvenor Street, off Heathcote Road, Longton from 1951 to 1978. My best friend at that time was one Sandra Dyke, so any information relating to her would be wonderful
