    Very interesting website. My grandfather, Harry Boughey,
    was born in Caverswall, one of 12 children His father worked
    at a pottery, They moved to Derby in the late 19thc. where
    worked at Royal Crown Derby. My grandfather imigrated to the
    US in 1930. I know they were active Methodists, probably in
    the Wesleyan Chapel. We visited Caverswall briefly 3 yrs.
    ago. A lovely village!
    The family legend is that a deBoughey came over from France
    probably in the 15th c.
    If anyone has any knowledge of the family name, I would love
    to hear from you
