Over the last year, we have worked with National World to secure an agreement allowing us to digitise and publish more of their content. National World currently have over 200 local and regional titles across the United Kingdom and we are diligently working through them as quickly as possible. While the Portsmouth Evening News is on the plan, please note that turnaround times may vary depending on the accessibility of the material for digitisation.

Funeral will take place on the 8th Dec at 12.30pm at Portchester Crematorium. He was always so proud of his time in the Royal Navy.

Would appreciate Standards and Veterans attend his funeral if possible.

His final wish is to have his ashes committed to the sea by the Royal Navy Chaplain service.

You were born June 1939,lived in Greenwich in the '50's and '60's, of Irish parents, Peggy and John, used to holiday in Howth, Dublin, played the mouth-organ, attended a school of Technical Drawing somewhere in London and married a girl called Bobby and had two (?) girls. You know who you are, where are you now - just want to catch up
