    I remember the vulcan bomber crash at Wingate. Was standing at upstairs window when crashed. Don’t know how old I was though, .think it was junior school.
    Moved to Sunderland in 1980 to start training as a nurse. Still there. I think Noel Watley was in same class at infant school.(Deaf Hill)Would love to hear from old school friends.

    What a great site!! some cracking pics!! i can remember going to the disco in the con win the early eightys and playing in highfield! drove through leve a few months ago and was shocked that the church had gone and the con and the midway was a supermarket and collage! the Levenshulme i knew is long gone! shame!
