We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

    'Time and Tide' was a very important feminist journal of the interwar period and its centenary is coming up in May 2020. It would be a great addition to the titles and a timely relaunch.

  3. Essex County Standard after 1918 and Harwich and Dovercourt Standard

    North Essex, i.e. Colchester & Harwich is not well represented in the 20th century. Much more is needed on this area.

It provides an in-depth analysis of politics, social and cultural life in Wales during a tumultuous period of change. A must for all social and cultural historians.

  5. Merthyr Express 1960's

    Covers the Aberfan Disaster of 1966 from a local perspective with many images taken at the time. This was a disaster that was/is known worldwide. Anybody joining this site for that perspective has been misled i.e. me

    I am researching the names on our local WW2 war memorial and find that copies of the Littlehampton Gazette for 1940 to 1955 have not been digitised. I have looked at the microfilm in our local library and cannot understand why these have been omitted.

    How about extending coverage for this newspaper into the fifties. According to the details, it is intended to cover this newspaper up to 1957, however the latest issues are for 1942 (and only February to August for that year) and there has been nothing added since 2015.
