Newspapers we should add next

Hemel Hempstead Gazette and other Herts. local papers
This is my local paper and its back numbers are used by myself and many other local historians as it holds a wealth of information on the area around Hemel Hempstead frm 1850. It is still published.
8 votesGood news! – Hemel Hempstead Gazette and West Herts Advertiser fits our inclusion criteria. We have researched the BL catalogue and it is available to us for digitisation. We have added the following years to our Digitisation Plan: 1867-1899
We are looking forward to digitising this!
Please be aware that until we have received the material into our studio and checked it, it is not possible to guarantee that it will be digitised.
Best wishes,

Rothwell Times
It would be helpful if you could digitise the Rothwell Times which started publication in 1873. Please could you start with the year 1879 as the British Library has the only microfilm copy available to the public. Leeds library has the other years on microfilm but does not have 1879.

The Ludlow Advertizer is partially in your archives (various years up to 1909). The physical archives are held at Ludlow Library and are becoming increasingly fragile and may be lost forever. Please archive them!

Morning Chronicle, July-December 1830 & 1831
Puzzling that the last six months (Jul-Dec) of The Morning Chronicle are missing for 1830 & 1831. They are not on "British Library Newspapers" or "Gale News Vault" either

'Elgin Courant and Courier' of 1880s and 90s.
The politically independent paper had a massive circulation in both Moray and the southern Highlands and offers very detailed reports on local affairs, invaluable for historical research. Microfiche copies are so impossible to use.

The Keswick Reminder
This paper had been issued for 100+ years and is an iconic part of the local scene. If it isnt in the Remimder it never happened. The story of the town is locked in old the newsprint.

Exeter Flying Post 1763-1800
While you say editions of the Exeter Flying Post prior to 1800 are not available I have found frequent academic references to the paper for the period 1763-1800, especially about ships, shipping, naval affairs and privateers, so I hope those years can become available.

The People's Paper
This is a crucially important radical paper from the 1850s, one in which Karl Marx played a significant editorial role alongside Ernest Jones.

Blackburn Standard
This important textile town has much historical and economic news to offer those who are students of the social changes affecting many Lancashire towns from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. It would be especially interesting to see how the First World War years affected those citizens living at the time, and how those who lost their lives during this conflict were reported.
