Fort William Times about 1898 only two years which are in a very poor state but covers the Highland Regionan interesting time
It was only published for about two years which are in a very poor state at the BL collection. It covers a wide area of the Highlands at an interesting time for the area. Being a small publication it might be missed out but surely we should be looking at regional papers as well as the large cities? It is on microfilm but the public have no access to this and moving the originals around the country to the BL reading rounds will be difficult due to it's condition.

Hemel Hempstead Gazette and other Herts. local papers
This is my local paper and its back numbers are used by myself and many other local historians as it holds a wealth of information on the area around Hemel Hempstead frm 1850. It is still published.
8 votesGood news! – Hemel Hempstead Gazette and West Herts Advertiser fits our inclusion criteria. We have researched the BL catalogue and it is available to us for digitisation. We have added the following years to our Digitisation Plan: 1867-1899
We are looking forward to digitising this!
Please be aware that until we have received the material into our studio and checked it, it is not possible to guarantee that it will be digitised.
Best wishes,

Rothwell Times
It would be helpful if you could digitise the Rothwell Times which started publication in 1873. Please could you start with the year 1879 as the British Library has the only microfilm copy available to the public. Leeds library has the other years on microfilm but does not have 1879.
