Do you have any plans to complete the run of the Shrewsbury Chronicle? It is a great advantage to us for the work we are doing to VCH Shropshire/Shrewsbury to have some of it online, but the gaps are very difficult and we would really welcome an accelerated programme to close them.

Gateshead Post
The Gateshead Post was launched in 1946 and ended in 2003 being bought up by Thomson Regional Newspapers. The paper is a fabulous source of local news that rarely hit the other mainstream newspapers such as the Evening Chronicle or Newcastle Journal. In addition, it made substantial use of photographs of local events and people.

Believe this title has either merged or been bought by Surrey Advertiser. However it was a major weekly publication in the commuter area of Woking and the outlying areas.
