    Here is a list of the papers I've found that were published in the Lowestoft area in 1893:
    Lowestoft Weekly Press and Beccles, Halesworth and Southwold Advertiser
    Lowestoft News and Observer and Eastern Times
    Lowestoft Standard and East Suffolk Conservative Courier
    Lowestoft Journal and Yarmouth and County Record
    Yarmouth Independent
    Yarmouth Gazette and Gorleston Weekly News
    Yarmouth Mercury, Gorleston Herald and North Norfolk Advertiser
    Yarmouth and Gorleston Times
    East Suffolk Gazette (published in Beccles)
    Halesworth Times, Southwold and General Advertiser

    And there are so many papers published at the same time in the Lowestoft area. It would be exciting to see how various events were covered by so many different papers. Plus a lot of the lowestoft papers are regarded as too fragile to be handled at the British Library reading room, and thus are unavailable to the public today.
