Richmond and Twickenham under represented at present. An ideal choice.
Totally agree. Ealing is not served yet and this would be a valuable West London addition.

Censorship rules at the time of WW2 mean it probably would not have been reported.

Now we are into three years of this thread with high vote numbers - can the BNA archive comment on their strategy for Greater London newspapers? There seems to be endless Irish Republic titles but hardly any from the London boroughs even though the population for the latter is vastly greater. Thank you in advance.
Newspapers that would be good to digitise are:
Richmond and Twickeham Times
South London Press
Middlesex County Times
West Middlesex Gazette
County of Middlesex Independent
These are solid London titles that are regional and not national.

We have developed a prototype data feed from the digitisation workflow software which will provide much more granular data in future. Now we are looking at ways too feed this data through to the website and make it presentable

We will take a look a the feasibility of this – it is quite an Engineering challenge but we already have some pilot projects underway that may help with this.
Excellent to see this start to be digitised. Thank you.
One of the premier sporting newspapers from the Victorian era up to the mid-1920s. This carries a wealth of information on many major sports and would be a quality addition for the football or sporting historian.
