I am referring to recently scanned pages. The Lincs Chronicle of 1919 is almost useless. I would love to post here the text as read by OCR to illustrate this.

Sometimes it seems that the newspapesr you are scanning are of poor quality. They do fade and get damaged, and their storage affects their survival. It must be difficult to get hold of good copies quickly, so some rescanning may have to take place in the future

We have developed a prototype data feed from the digitisation workflow software which will provide much more granular data in future. Now we are looking at ways too feed this data through to the website and make it presentable

We have redeveloped the digitsation workflow software so that it can provide more granular detail on titles. Now we are investigating ways to send the data from the workflow to the website and make it presentable.
