    My family on my father's side always lived in Colne and I was brought up in Winewall from the age of 8 years. My great grandfather was Richard Eastwood who developed the musical life of the area for many years. I have a newspaper cutting, published in 1931, of his Obituary, which is very lengthy, and i assume it is from the Colne times.
