   My wife and I have used the Howdenshire Chronicle (Treasure House) for several years in our research for books on Pocklington in the 19th and 20th centuries. It has been absolutely invaluable to us. However, its use for us is limited owing to the distance we have to travel to Beverley as well as creating unwanted carbon!
