Seeking anything on the following Publishers - JB Allen, Hotspur/Percy Brothers, Cardal, Pembertons, World International and Kayebon Press/Studios. Also would love to know more about the following artists - Ken Reid, Hugh McNeill, Harry Hargreaves, Denis McLoughlin, Crewe Davies. Trying to collect details, information and anecdotes on Manchester's small but significant Comics industry from 1900 to 1980.

Looking for anyone with connections to the family of Henry and Ada Wood (nee Deeming) who moved to East Ham in the early 1900`s. Several children including my Grandfather, Thomas William Wood born in 1894. Family connection with the railway and omnibus services, Henry was an inspector in both areas during his working life. Related to Coombes and Baxter - the latter had a florist/greengrocer business in Manor Park during the 1970`s
