We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

    Some people called it the Gazette, others the Observer. It was, and probably still is, a weekly. I'd love to browse 20th century editions esp. 1930s.

  5. The Territorial Service Gazette

    From 1908 -1925 which covers the period of the Great War - many photographs from relatives and friends who are looking for loved missing in action as this was the paper read by the men in trenches - it's an invaluable source of information for WW1 historians, genealogist, schools, colleges etc

    This title was the evening edition of the Aberdeen Free Press, which you have started to digitise. It was absorbed by Aberdeen Journals in 1922 and merged into the Aberdeen Evening Express.It was the best of the Aberdeen papers for feature articles and an alternative view on current events.

    In Lowestoft we have the Lowestoft heritage centre and it has the Victorian issues of the journal in yearly volumes from the 1850's upwards anychance you could scan them in to your archive?
