"The Southampton Times" & the "Southampton Daily Echo" & "Southampton Evening Echo" would be excellent please.
I would like to see these newspapers on your website & am sure a lot of other people would too as Southampton was & still is a very busy port.

Boston Standard and Gazette. Gainsborough Standard. Lincolnshire Echo
With the 100 year anniversary of the 1st World War I have been trying to trace records of my ancestors. Although I viewed files at local libraries this is a slow and challenging task where you always fear you may have missed something. Could you add papers focused on these years when many people know there is likely to be a trace of an ancestor?

Fishing News
You previously rejected this suggestion on the mistaken belief that it was a 'sporting title. It is not. It is a 'trade paper' which was very widely read in what was once a huge industry. At one time 20.000 people were employed in it in my home town of Aberdeen and this degree of involvement was replicated around the UK coast.

Morning Advertiser - licensed trade newspaper
For those with ancestors who were licensed victuallers, this newspaper is invaluable. It began in 1794 and by the mid 19th century was the second highest circulating newspaper after The Times. Charles Dickens was an early contributor. It gives details of pubs changing hands, deaths of pub landlords and elections to Licensed Victuallers Homes (retirement homes for pub landlords & their families - an early example of occupational welfare). Please give this serious consideration as it covers an important occupational group. The newspapers are already scanned by the British Library.
