We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

    The Newry Telegraph was printed up to 1970 but it is only available on here up to 1902. Is it possible to get more years added as it would be valuable to my research into Newry Town FC.

    The Gloucester Journal archive is missing this decade. During this period there was a massive change in working practice in the region as hand weaving made way to power looms. In 1825 there was the Weavers' Strike, surely of interest?

    Over the last year, we have worked with National World to secure an agreement allowing us to digitise and publish more of their content. National World currently have over 200 local and regional titles across the United Kingdom and we are diligently working through them as quickly as possible. While the Portsmouth Evening News is on the plan, please note that turnaround times may vary depending on the accessibility of the material for digitisation.

    Include ALL the regional editions for each publication date.
    You currently have some editions of the Western Gazette, but there were several different editions. All were printed in Yeovil (Somerset) but their main content varied, with separate versions for separate regions/counties. At the moment, all are catalogued under Somerset, which could be misleading. A search by a different county (Hampshire, for example), might therefore not include the Western Gazette at all, even though it is that edition which you have for the particular date. Conversely, a search for an event in Somerset, say, might not find it because the edition…

    You advertise the Kentish Gazette from 1750-1899 but you can't get the years 1777-1799. They do exist as I have seen them on microfilm. This gap is very frustrating and for completeness it would be great if they could be digitised.
