We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

  3. Manchester Weekly Times

    I'd love to see the weekly version of the Manchester Times added, particularly in the 1870s and 1880s, as I think it's interesting to study regional syndication of serialization of Victorian novels, which happened around this time.

  4. Inverness Courier

    The Inverness Courier from 1817 onwards is on microfilm at Inverness Library. The BNA holds digitised copies up to 1909. It would be great to see this more comprehensively digitised as it is the principal newspaper for the Highlands. My interest is in family history - there are many people all over the world who have their roots in the Highlands of Scotland. Newspapers are a fantastic resource for family historians and it would be amazing to see more editions of this newspaper on the BNA for us all to enjoy!

  7. The Borehamwood Times and Edgware Newspapers

    Thank you for all the fantastic digitisation and blogs you've been putting together - really amazing, interesting stuff.

    Digitising the Borehamwood Times or any of the Edgware or Watford newspapers would fill a gap that exists in North London / South Hertfordshire between Harrow and Pinner in the West and Hendon and Finchley in the East.

  8. Church Bells

    Church Bells is a unique weekly newspaper. First published in 1869 it continued in publication until 1906. Being neither anglo-catholic nor evengelical it sought to establish a 'middle way' for the Church of England in the closing decades of the 19th century. Its addition to tthe collection would be an invaluable resource to historians of the period.

  9. Morning Chronicle (before 1800)

    Could you upload Morning Chronicle (before 1800) please... I am doing research and unable to visit BL in person (due to Covid-19). I am sure my research will benefit a lot from the Morning Chronicle of the late 18th century, between 1780-1800.

  12. Please can you cover Faringdon & Vale White Horse, Abingdon and Oxford for 1918
