Newspapers we should add next
Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

Fishing News
You previously rejected this suggestion on the mistaken belief that it was a 'sporting title. It is not. It is a 'trade paper' which was very widely read in what was once a huge industry. At one time 20.000 people were employed in it in my home town of Aberdeen and this degree of involvement was replicated around the UK coast.

Chelmsford Chronicle
It's great that you have some editions of this important regional newspaper, but the coverage from 1790 - 1830 is almost entirely missing. It would be wonderful if you could fill this gap. Thank you.

'WHITECRAFT' - the works magazine of Whitehead Aircraft (1915-1919)
Whitehead Aircraft (1917), Ltd. works magazine 'Whitecraft,' (sub-edited, I think, by Patrick Lucius Mannock, a cousin of fighter ace Edward 'Mick' Mannock VC)
Complete run of the magazine held by the Richmond Local Studies Centre.5 votes -
Jewish Chronicle
An essential reference source for the Jewish community in England and Wales, which would aid those researching Jewish ancestry enormously.

St. James's Gazette: An Evening Review and Record of News (1880–1905)
This paper's contributors included J. M. Barrie (helping him make his name), Edmund Gosse, Sidney Low, and Margaret Oliphant. I constantly find it cited for reviews of late-Victorian books, but I have a lot of trouble finding the reviews and reading them.

Thank you for getting in touch. We are super keen to include the St. James’s Gazette in the British Newspaper Archive project. So, the good news is that it is on our digitisation plan! As you can imagine we have a huge list to digitise. We will scan this as soon as possible. Please do keep an eye on the site!Best wishes,

More newspapers from the 20th century please
Can we have more papers from the 20th century please? During August, you did about 7 titles/years for the 18th century, 49 for the 20th and a whopping 450 for the 19th century. Your coverage is a bit skewed!

This newspaper covered a wide geographic area in the East Riding. Apart from the Hull newspapers the East riding is not well covered

These two papers go back to the 19th century and have a great deal of information about people and events in north Norfolk

Star, The (Guernsey)
Add missing years - copies at the Priaulx Library, Guernsey are too fragile to handle and (of course) 1878 is among the years not available online.

Ambleside Lakes Herald
Although a limited run, the Herald provides detailed information on those living and visiting the Lakes in the late 19th Century. Could these be made available online? I believe some are on microform at the BL.
