Newspaper found on ipad access but not on main Mac
Have pages from The Yorkshire Telgraph and Star for October 1914 found using my iPad at home but when I go to the main home computer this title is not even in the list of newspapers! What's happening?

Most important suggestion, don't let the people who ruined FindMyPast anywhere near the site
As in the title.
FindMyPast has been completely ruined by their 'improvements'. The British Newspaper Archive is owned by the same group so please do not let them anywhere near it, it might not be perfect but at least we can search reasonably easily and get results in a acceptable format unlike FindMyPast which many of us have just given up on even when we have subscriptions.

Hi. I do not like the fact that your website has as a default the automatic renewal of monthly membership. I
I subscribed for one month and then found that the subscription renewed without my permission. This is not good enough. I have cancelled the auto renew but should not have had to. Please correct. You state that this has been done, but it is obviously not clear still.

This should now be clear. The first place that this is mentioned is on the subscription page itself. There is then very clear wording in the confirmation email that you receive when you make a purchase, including instructions for now to turn off continuous membership. Please let us know if you received a purchase confirmation email which did not contain this information and we will investigate!

Voting on Scanning Priority
Catalog of Newspapers and available periods stoed (physically) at BL - with an option at the archive site to subscribers to vote for next batch of scanning (paper/time period)... ie. the people paying for access have say in priority
1 voteClosed - Completed · AdminThe British Newspaper Archive (Head of Data Development, The British Newspaper Archive) respondedYou can now do this via the “Newspapers we should add next” ideas board. In terms of seeing what is available at BL, this is slightly challenging, but please work on the assumption that anything which receives a lot of requests will be investigated by us to determine what holdings are readily available

Hello there,
Just to reassure you that the yearly subscription gives you unlimited access. We think you are probably looking at the PayAsYouGo option which allows you to access 40 pages over the course of a year. Hope this helps!
