  3. Suffolk Chronicle

    This was the local paper which the poor read to each other in the early nineteenth century, and has a different angle to the 'establishment' Ipswich Journal and Bury and Norwich Post. It contains a lot of information which the other two don't, or that they look at with a very different bias

    Currently there are no newspapers on the archive from this area of Scotland. There has been a lot of people moving from one county to a neighbouring county over the years and it woud help greatly with my research if this missing area was added.

    Some people called it the Gazette, others the Observer. It was, and probably still is, a weekly. I'd love to browse 20th century editions esp. 1930s.
