Cheshunt & Waltham Mercury + Enfield Gazette
It is sad to find that there are no North London or South Hertfordshire 'Local' editions available. Especialy from the important later decades of the 20th century.

Enfield Gazette & Observer
Some people called it the Gazette, others the Observer. It was, and probably still is, a weekly. I'd love to browse 20th century editions esp. 1930s.

It was founded in 1893 as the North Star and Farmers’ Chronicle and kept that name until 1969, when it was taken into the Highland News series as the Highland News & North Star and Farmers’ Chronicle, adopting the News‘s edition numbers in the process. Did the many different newspapers published in the Lowestoft/Yarmouth area around 1900 lead to a more varied news coverage?
The Yarmouth/Lowestoft area on the Norfolk/Suffolk border had a remarkable numbers of newspapers covering the same area at the end of the 19th Century. It would be interesting to see if that led to a diversity in the news coverage, for instance of the great gale that swept Great Britain and the North Sea at the end of november 1893. I therefor suggest that you scan the 1893 volume of the following newspapers:
Lowestoft Weekly Press and Beccles, Halesworth and Southwold Advertiser
Lowestoft News and Observer and Eastern Times
Lowestoft Standard and East Suffolk Conservative Courier
Lowestoft Journal and Yarmouth…21 votes -

The Folkestone News
The Folkestone News (which had only a short lifespan) would be a great addition, as our local library has only a couple of years` worth.

Good news! – Driffield Times fits our inclusion criteria. We have researched the BL catalogue and it is available to us for digitisation. We have added the following years to our Digitisation Plan: 1869-1955
We are looking forward to digitising this!
Please be aware that until we have received the material into our studio and checked it, it is not possible to guarantee that it will be digitised.
Best wishes,
