Gateshead Post
The Gateshead Post was launched in 1946 and ended in 2003 being bought up by Thomson Regional Newspapers. The paper is a fabulous source of local news that rarely hit the other mainstream newspapers such as the Evening Chronicle or Newcastle Journal. In addition, it made substantial use of photographs of local events and people.

St Pancras (london) papers
The lack of London additions this year has been very disappointing, both local papers and post-1900. I appreciate there may be copyright issues but surely some progress could be made.

Atherstone Herald (Warwickshire)
Atherstone was a key hatting town throughout the 19th Century and a busy market town servicing many surrounding villages. At present, it is not available online anywhere. The only place to access copies is at the local library :(.

NME
I think it would be a good idea to look at adding music papers such as the NME and Melody Maker as well as others, the stories and history of music and bands is in the pages of these papers and that is as interesting and important as other history in the newspapers on your files.

Beccles & Bungay Journal
The 'Beccles & Bungay Journal' is an important local newspaper which, since 1933, has covered the rural market towns and parishes located in both the Waveney Valley and the broader area straddling the eastern border between the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Sadly, during this last year, those in this area in Suffolk have lost their local branch of the county's Record Office, and so have lost easy access to many of the area's original historical documents. Therefore, the addition of the earlier decades of this title to your website would, doubtless, be very welcome.27 votes -
