Newspapers we should add next
Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

Catholic Newspapers printed in Britain
In the late 19th & early 20th centuries, there were over 30 Catholic newspapers published in Britain, mainly for the Irish Catholic community living in Britain, eg Irish Tribune, Preston Catholic News, Glasgow Observer & Catholic Herald, Tyneside Catholic News, Catholic Times & Catholic Opinion, etc. Few copies of these titles have survived beyond The British Library's collection.

Maidstone and Kentish Journal
You are digitalising the South Eastern Gazette, but this is already freely available to UK users for 1852-1912 (and 1914-19 for a small fee) via Kent Online. M&KJ is the major rival and there is little yet available on your site from the county town and district.

More Cumbrian Titles!
Apart from one year of the Kendal Mercury, I've been waiting an age for some Cumbrian publications.
The Carlisle Journal hasn't seen any additions since the first few weeks of your launch.
As for new publications, I would love to see some editions of the West Cumberland Times or the short-lived Wigton Advertiser.
By the way, a fantastic site bringing to light my fantastic ancestors!638 votes -

Newspapers from the St. Helens, Warrington & Wigan area.
This area of South West Lancashire has over 750,000 inhabitants but no local newspaper coverage in the archive. The Manchester & Liverpool newspapers are great for the regional picture but poor on local stories.
