I am afraid it is unrealistic to suggest that this service is free. Australia and New Zealand have funds provided by the taxpayer which have produced magnificent archival services, prompted by the large numbers of people looking for their roots. British taxpayers are unlikely to be so willing to see their money spent in this way.
